Commentary on Jesse Baldenegro Accident in Taylor

Police seem to have a rough picture of events at this point, but right now they're pretty light on explanations for how and why things went the way they did. Why didn't the suspect yield to the motorcycle? Did he not see it? Did he even check for approaching traffic before turning? Once the collision happened and the damage was done, why did he run away? Did he just panic, or did he have something else to hide? Where else had he been that night and what did he do there? What about the victim? What are lighting and road conditions like in that area?

Jesse Baldenegro Killed in Motorcycle Accident on 2nd Street in Taylor, TX

That's just a few of the many questions that still need answers to make sure the whole story is known here. It's one thing to read that two vehicles collided, but it's another entirely to know the reason that happened. A man lost his life, and that seems like more than enough reason to ensure everyone responsible for that faces consequences. Will police take the time and care needed to get to the bottom of this and find answers for the victim's loved ones?
