Big Lake, TX -- September 24, 2022, Francisca Garcia Alvarado was injured following an accident where a truck and a Jeep collided.

Initial details said that the crash happened just after 3:00 p.m. along US 67/2nd Street near Highway 167.

It appears that 85-year-old Francisca Garcia Alvarado was a passenger in Jeep Liberty traveling eastbound along 2nd Street. In a series of events not entirely clear, police say that a semi-truck and a Jeep Liberty were involved in a rear-end collision. The directions of the vehicles is unclear at this time.

Following the collision, it appears Garcia Alvarado went to a hospital with incapacitating injuries. No additional details have been released at this time.
