Commentary on Catherine Ann Ramirez 18-wheeler Accident in Donna

I must say I'm a bit shocked there isn't more attention on this tragic event. It makes me wonder if it's getting proper investigations from experienced professionals who can sort out exactly what wrong. While folks are often quick to just blame the driver that rear-ended the other vehicle, there's a distinct possibility this truck driver negligently cut off the victim, leaving her without any time to slow down.

Unfortunately, getting answers is rarely simple--especially with a commercial truck involved. It's even possible the reason this crash isn't getting much attention is because truck company reps have been working behind the scenes to push things into their favor. They have countless ways to cheat victims and families out of their rights and the help they deserve. That's why I do what I can to inform people about the challenges they can face in situations like this. I hope steps were taken or will be taken to do so here and ensure this woman's loved ones know they're getting the resolution they deserve.
