Katy, TX -- April 20, 2022, Chantelle Danay Carroll was injured due to an accident where two vehicles collided.

In preliminary details, it appears that the crash happened off the corner of Market Place Drive and Katy Fort Bend Road at around 3:16 p.m.

According to investigators, 36-year-old Chantelle Danay Carroll was in a Buick Enclave traveling westbound on Market Place Drive. At the Walmart exit driveway, a vehicle reportedly failed to yield, crashing with Carroll's vehicle.

Due to the collision, Carroll was said to have incapacitating injuries. No other injuries were reported. At this time, additional details are unavailable.
