Commentary on Abram Diaz, Lugo Margarito Truck Accident in Caddo

Obviously, finding out the cause of the crash is important. But one issue authorities tend to overlook is the condition of the truck. There should be a proper reconstruction to determine if the victims' injuries were reasonable results of the crash or if they could have been prevented in a truck from another manufacturer.

Put simply, some trucks fail to withstand what should otherwise be relatively minor rollover accidents. There are drivers out there who may as well be surrounded be cardboard due to manufacturers continuing to take shortcuts for the sake of their own business and at the expense of their own customers. This is just one possibility of many, of course, but bringing it up can help people understand why thorough independent investigations are often more effective than simply relying on police.
