Emmanuel Munoz Injured in Motorcycle Accident in Eagle Pass, TX

Eagle Pass, TX -- September 18, 2022, Emmanuel Munoz was injured as the result of an accident where Munoz's motorcycle crashed.

The crash was said to have taken place at around 2:00 a.m. off the corner of Second Street and Avenue B.

It appears that 27-year-old Emmanuel Munoz was on a motorcycle traveling southbound on Business 277. Crossing the intersection, the motorcycle somehow lost control and hit the curb, ejecting Munoz from the bike.

Due to the crash, Munoz sustained injuries described as incapacitating. No other injuries were mentioned by authorities. At this time, more information is required to confirm the cause of the crash.

Something I discuss a lot on this blog is the importance of considering even unlikely possible factors after a single-vehicle wreck. Things like speeding, alcohol, and distraction are common, of course, but they're just part of what should be a much more thorough investigation. Unfortunately, folks are less likely to give this benefit of the doubt when the vehicle in question is a motorcycle. Frankly, I see no reason why an accident like this wouldn't warrant as thorough an investigation as a crash involving a car or SUV or any other vehicle. Are those steps being taken?
