When it comes to something like this, folks are quick to just leave everything up to OSHA. In reality, though, OSHA doesn't always help victims and families. Their priority is to find violations and issue fines. Getting people the help they need means asking the right questions and ensuring the full story comes to light so those responsible take some accountability.
Has this sort of thing happened before? Were the lines supposed to be off? Were the workers properly trained and equipped? Was there supposed to be a supervisor with them? Did actions from a separate company's employees lead to the fire? Without knowing all the facts, getting help for the victims and families isn't going to be as simple as people may think.
