Eris Benitez Rodriguez Killed, 1 Injured in Car Accident on Bellaire Boulevard in Houston, TX

UPDATE (October 26, 2022): Officials identified the man killed in the crash as 33-year-old Eris Benitez Rodriguez. The other victim was not identified. The cause of the crash remains unconfirmed.

Houston, TX -- October 2, 2022, one was killed and one was injured following an accident where the vehicle crashed along Bellaire Boulevard.

Authorities said that the incident took place at around 4:00 p.m. off the corner of Bellaire Boulevard and Gessner Road.

It appears that a black Toyota Scion was traveling eastbound along the roadway. For reasons unclear at this time, the vehicle ran off-road and crashed into a pole. Due to the collision, a 33-year-old man in the vehicle sustained fatal injuries. A 26-year-old man was said to be in stable condition. No further information is available at this time.
