Abundio Gonzalez Reyes Killed in Car Accident in Harris County, TX

Harris County, TX -- October 2, 2022, Abundio Gonzalez Reyes was killed after an accident where his vehicle crashed off the freeway.

Investigations indicated that the incident happened at around 7:17 p.m. along the North Freeway at Rankin Road. It appears that Abundio Gonzalez Reyes was in a vehicle traveling northbound on the freeway. After taking the Rankin exit ramp, the vehicle somehow left its lane and hit a concrete object.

As a result of the collision, Reyes sustained fatal injuries. At this time, the cause of the crash remains unclear.

Lord knows it wouldn't be the first time authorities got something wrong. But that possibility would likely present unique challenges for those involved in the accident. That's because it could mean that a local establishment is responsible for contributing to this person's tragic death.

It's important both for the family to see accountability and for the community to know those negligent businesses will face consequences for their actions.
