Man Killed in Car Accident on Beechnut Street in Houston, TX

Houston, TX -- October 2, 2022, one person was killed as the result of an accident where two cars collided along Beechnut Street.

Investigators were called to the area of Beechnut Street just off Kirkwood Road at around 12:50 a.m.

From initial details, it appears that an Acura was traveling along eastbound lanes at the time when an Infiniti apparently merged in front of the Acura. After this, the Acura crashed into the back of Infiniti.

The Acura ran off-road after the crash and hit a pole. The unidentified driver sustained fatal injuries. Authorities did not list any other injuries. Investigations are ongoing.
