Commentary on Austin Moffitt, Alexis McCann Truck Accident near Dunlap

Something I discuss a lot on this blog is taking early details with a grain of salt. A crash involving teenagers is not the exception to that--not for me anyway. Some folks, on the other hands, are quick to blame kids. It's true that they're statistically more likely to cause wrecks, and some details available right now certainly paint a grim picture. But until steps have been taken to ensure police didn't overlook anything important, no one should be jumping to conclusions. Instead, it's best to focus on what can be done for the victim's loved ones. Right now, a prudent step would be to learn what can be done to ensure they're getting the whole story.
