Commentary on Justin Hicks Truck Accident in Harrison County

These details fail to mention one incredibly important detail surrounding the crash: the direction the semi-truck was going. If the truck was going northbound as well, then it's possible the truck driver was just minding his own business and did nothing wrong. But I've seen many situations like this where a truck driver absentmindedly pulls left of center to make a wide turn, resulting in a collision with an oncoming vehicle. Could it be something like that happened here? Finding out for certain may be a lot more complicated than folks would think.

Justin Hicks Killed in Semi-Truck Accident in Harrison County, MS

Put simply, there are a lot of people out there who are quick to blame motorcyclists. They just see them all as reckless daredevils. I know from experience how many are responsible riders who actually fall victim to the drivers of larger vehicles failing to keep a proper lookout. Despite this, however, insurance companies know they can exploit these biases to avoid responsibility they should otherwise be on the hook for. As such, ensuring there are thorough investigations from experienced professionals is crucial. Negative misconceptions are strong, but letting the evidence speak for itself almost always ensures that the truth prevails. Are steps being taken here to ensure that happens for this man's loved ones?
