Commentary on Kinita Marie Dollar Car Accident in Harris County

As straight forward as this all may seem, something stands out to me. While rear-end collisions can be serious at certain speeds, it's somewhat concerning when someone rear-ended by a passenger vehicle is seriously hurt. Most modern vehicles are built to protect drivers from serious collisions of this nature. Whiplash is one thing, but if injuries here are more serious, it may be worth looking into whether or not things like seatbelts, airbags, chair assemblies, and crumple zones on the car functioned as intended--if they were even there. Doing so could show there's a lot more to this situation which those involved should be aware of.
