Commentary on Matthew Delaughter Truck Accident in Austin

Folks tend to brush off crashes like this, thinking they're all just open-and-shut. That's rarely ever true. There can always be complex factors to consider.

Matthew Delaughter Injured in Truck Accident in Austin, TX

Did the vehicle that entered the victim's path stay at the scene? Were they driving erratically? Was the truck moving at appropriate speeds? Did all vehicles involved have their lights on? Was the victim negligently over-served by a local bar than needs to be held accountable? Are there issues with the roadway itself? It's not about what's likely--it's about getting the facts. Experience makes me skeptical the scant information I'm seeing here is really telling the whole story.
