Commentary on Dominique Laprell Parker Car Accident in Harker Heights

It's not clear what happened here, but any serious crash is worth getting into the hands of professionals and experienced investigators. Simply waiting around for police to get answers isn't always as prudent as it sounds. If they don't have enough experience or proper equipment, important details can slip through the cracks.

For example, these details say that the victim was ejected in the crash. Police often assume the driver just wasn't wearing their seatbelt. Common as that may be, there may also have been a defect. Seatbelts can break, come unlatched, seat assemblies can fail--is it possible that something meant to save the victim's life didn't work when she most needed it?

Those are the kinds of questions more experienced investigators and why it's so important folks know the possible steps they may need to take after a serious accident like this.
