Commentary on Sanjiv Kumar Truck Accident in Henry County

A common misconception I encounter is people assuming that the person who rear-ended another driver is automatically at fault. That's not really how the law works. In reality, it's important to actually consider the facts. For example, folks likely wouldn't blame someone minding their own business before hitting an 18-wheeler that pulled onto a dark highway without its lights on, which is what happened in a crash I looked into just a couple of months ago.

Unfortunately, even authorities can miss these details if they aren't experienced or careful enough. Maybe nothing unusual happened here, but the victims and families at least deserve some benefit of the doubt until the facts become more clear.
