Commentary on Anthony Word Car Accident in Houston

A big detail here is not doubt going to be if it was clear that the vehicle ahead was going to turn. A vehicle driving slowly for some distance without any signals could lead someone to reasonably decide it's safe to pass. Otherwise, if someone just tries to pass impatiently when someone clearly is making a turn, that person was likely in the wrong. Folks may think that's all simple to clear up, but without third party witnesses or clear video evidence, police investigations here may not be as thorough as they need to be. It's something I talk about frequently and why there should always be thorough investigations to make sure nothing important slipped through the cracks.
