Roosevelt King Jr. Killed, Ronnie Walker, Linda Walker, Gloria Alvarado Injured in Truck Accident in Wise County, TX

Wise County, TX -- September 21, 2022, Roosevelt King Jr. was killed and Ronnie Walker, Linda Walker, and Gloria Alvarado were hurt due to an accident involving a head-on collision.

Investigators were called to the area of FM 51 north of Decatur at around 11:00 a.m. It appears that 51-year-old Roosevelt King Jr. was in a vehicle traveling along FM 51. Police say the driver of that vehicle was trying to pass an 18-wheeler when it crashed head-on with an oncoming pickup.

Due to the collision, King was ejected from the vehicle and sustained fatal injuries. The driver of King's vehicle, identified as 32-year-old Gloria Alvarado, along with two people from the pickup, identified as 75-year-old Ronnie Walker and 71-year-old Linda Walker, were injured. No further information is available at this time.

There's a lot going on here, and while folks may see these reports as pretty straight-forward, the reality is that just about any incident this serious is going to naturally present unique challenges.
