Commentary on School Bus, Truck Accident on US 190 in Kempner

To be rather blunt here, I would never rely solely on police efforts after an accident like this. This is not to say police can't do their jobs or that I have specific reasons to doubt this particular department. The issue is that in my career, I've seen time and time again how a lack of funding, a lack of training, a lack of experience, or simply a lack of time can lead to misleading and incomplete crash reports. A crash as complex as three commercial vehicles colliding is only going to present more significant challenges. That's why it's important for victims and families to understand these issues and how to overcome them and get the help they deserve.
