Vanessa Gonzalez Injured in Alleged DWI Accident in Randall County, TX

Randall County, TX -- September 10, 2022, Vanessa Gonzalez was injured due to an accident allegedly involving an intoxicated driver.

Investigators said that the incident happened at around 9:20 p.m. along Thornberry near the intersection of Rosewood Avenue.

It appears that 22-year-old Vanessa Gonzalez was in a Ford Focus traveling along a private drive. While entering Thornberry travel lanes, a southbound Ford Explorer crashed into Gonzalez's vehicle.

Due to the collision, Gonzalez was said to have incapacitating injuries. Police said they believe the Explorer driver was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the collision. Additional details are pending further investigations.

Anytime details like this surround a serious accident, folks tend to assume everything will be open-and-shut. A driver was drunk, so they'll be held responsible. What more is there to discuss? Well, perhaps nothing, or perhaps there's an accomplice police are overlooking.
