Pedestrian Killed in Car Accident on East Illinois in Dallas, TX

Dallas, TX -- September 17, 2022, one person was killed following an accident where a vehicle struck them on East Illinois Avenue.

Preliminary details indicated that the accident took place at around 9:00 p.m. along East Illinois Avenue near I-45.

Authorities said that a pedestrian was crossing an area of the road reportedly against a "no crossing" light. While crossing, a vehicle going westbound hit the pedestrian, causing fatal injuries.
