Commentary on Kelly Joe Alba Motorcycle Accident in Slaton

Too often when folks read about a crash like this, they assume there's nothing to be done. A single-vehicle wreck means the victim did something wrong, right? That has to be true with motorcyclists especially. Well, I hear that all the time, and it's just not true. Motorcyclists are not always the reckless daredevils folks believe them to be, and there are all kinds of reasons a vehicle may lose control. Avoidable or not, those factors can involve unique legal avenues to get people the help they need which authorities alone aren't likely to address. That's why it's important to understand these possibilities and what can be done to ensure a victim has access to the help they deserve.
