Commentary on Semi-Truck Accident on Telegraph Road in Bloomfield Township

When it comes to a crash like this, one of the biggest mistakes I see from folks is just assuming they're getting all the facts. Don't get me wrong--I'm not here to throw doubt on these particular details. Police may have done a very good job investigating things. But if if turned out they missed something important, it would be far from the first time.

One of the reasons I'm always so adamant about independent investigations is precisely because authorities make mistakes. Without the right people looking into things, that allows crucial details to slip through the cracks. If victims and families are going to get the answers and the help they deserve, they need to anticipate these challenges and the approaches they can take to ensure they're getting all the facts.
