Jeffrey Hurst Killed in Hit-and-Run Accident on Blue Mound Road in Saginaw, TX

Saginaw, TX -- September 9, 2022, a motorcyclist was injured after an accident where a vehicle hit them on Blue Mound Road, then fled.
Authorities reported that the incident happened at around 4:04 a.m. in the area of South Blue Mound Road and East Industrial Avenue.
It appears that a motorcyclist was traveling along the road when a white passenger car may have collided with the motorcycle. That vehicle did not remain at the scene.
EMS transported the motorcyclist to a hospital with injuries said to be life-threatening. At this time, additional details are unavailable.

It's just infuriating anytime someone leaves the scene of an accident. To leave someone behind like that when they're in dire need of help is simply unthinkable. It shouldn't be a surprise that this sort of thing often involves a driver with something specific to hide, like drunk driving, drugs, or warrants. Finding out for certain, though, means identifying the driver. I always encourage people to remain vigilant in these times. Someone is often able to connect the dots and come forward withe information police can use. The same may yet happen here, as well.
