Commentary on Pedestrian Hit-and-run Accident on LBJ Fwy in Dallas

It's always infuriating to see accidents like this. Someone losing their life is bad enough without the other person involved shirking their responsibilities. It's possible they might not even have been in trouble had they stuck around. On the other hand, a lot of people flee the scene due to factors they want to hide from authorities.

Warrants, drugs, drunk driving, expired licenses--finding someone can help answer these questions, which is why having the community remain vigilant is often a productive step toward getting information for the authorities. I maintain hope that someone will be able to connect the dots here and help get the victim's loved ones some kind of resolution.
