Commentary on 18-wheeler Accident at Gateway & Eastlake in El Paso

These are obviously concerning allegations, and one can't help but wonder what could prevent a trained professional from following the most basic of traffic laws. Well, the answer to that isn't always simple.

El Paso, TX 18-wheeler Accident at Gateway West & Eastlake

A crash I handled not long ago, for example, involved a clearly reckless truck driver. Just to be thorough, we dug into his history and records. As it turned out, the driver barely had any experience at all. To make matters worse, evidence showed their employer barely even trained them. They essentially rushed through crucial training in about half an hour, tossed the driver the keys, and said, "Get to work."

It was inevitable such hasty action would lead to people getting seriously hurt. That company either was too stupid to understand that or simply didn't care. That's why thorough investigations are always so important. Maybe something simple happened here, or maybe there are complex issues that require more attention. For folks in need of assistance, having as much evidence as possible should always be a priority.
