One Injured in Alleged Drunk Driver Accident on TX 242 in Montgomery County, TX

Montgomery County, TX -- August 28, 2022, one person sustained injuries due to an alleged drunk driving accident on Highway 242.

In their initial reports, authorities said that the crash happened in the area of Highway 242 and Sun View Lane, southeast of Conroe.

It appears that a driver going eastbound on the highway went off-road, then swerved into oncoming lanes. There, it crashed head-on into another vehicle.

One person was said to be seriously injured due to the crash. The driver that lost control is suspected of driving while intoxicated. This and other details cannot be confirmed at this time.
