Commentary on Fatal Car Accident at I-10 and Hawkins in El Paso

Folks generally expect to see single-vehicle wrecks like this late at night or early in the morning when things like fatigue and alcohol are more common. Perhaps this was something like speeding or distracted driving, but it's also possible there are extenuating circumstances authorities may not typically consider.

Single-vehicle wrecks can involve certain possible factors which can easily slip through the cracks if investigators don't have the right experience and equipment. Knowing these possibilities can help folks ensure they have the right people looking into things and getting them the answers they deserve. I doubt this crash is going to be an exception to that.
