Commentary on Fatal Truck Accident on Highway 95 in Coupland

It's tragic to read about a crash like this, but some folks may not give the crash too much thought. In their eyes, this all may just seem like someone being reckless, on their phone, or speeding and crashing their truck.

But what not enough people talk about is how complex machines like a commercial truck can experience all kinds of problems. Without thorough investigations, something like a defect could easily slip through the cracks. Frankly, authorities rarely have the tools and training for something that specific.

That's why I try to shed light on this topic whenever possible. At the end of the day, a man lost his life here. He and his loved ones at least deserve some benefit of the doubt until all possibilities have been thoroughly considered here.
