It's at least encouraging to see there were minor injuries here, but that's no reason to take the situation lightly. Not even that long ago, I helped a man out with his "minor" injuries. Doctors sent him home after a commercial vehicle wreck with little more than instructions to use ibuprofen and a heating pad. Days later, though, he could barely move due to the excruciating pain.

Further tests showed the crash ruptured a disk in his spine. He ultimately needed surgery as well as months of back and forth with the insurance company to get them to take responsibility. We got him the help he needed, but it was a process I wouldn't wish upon anyone.

Hopefully nothing like that happens here, but it's why I tell folks any commercial vehicle crash warrants serious attention. A crash involving three different companies is far from the exception.
