Commentary on Josh Morris, Elwood Detro, Jacob Franklin, Dustin Thomas Truck Accident in Mount Gilead

to be rather blunt here, I have some concerns about who is looking into the facts here. Folks often take for granted that authorities will get the answers so those involved can get the help they deserve. But if anyone can attest to the complexity of a commercial truck wreck, it's truckers. A crash involving four of them--four companies and four insurance teams doing everything they can not to help those involved--is only going to present more significant challenges.

For that reason, it's important folks understand why police investigations often come up short and why they may be better off ensuring independent accident reconstructionists look into things. Whatever ultimately happened here, those involved should make sure they're getting all the facts.
