Commentary on Charles Edwin Johnson Rollover Accident in Midland

When folks read about a late night rollover, they tend to assume the driver must have been on their phone, fatigued, or drunk. Are those common factors? Absolutely. But are they the only ones to consider? Absolutely not.

Likely or not, there are other factors that can cause deadly wrecks like this which drivers have little to no control over. Even authorities sometimes overlook these possibilities, which is why I always try to inform people about them and advocate for more thorough independent investigations from professionals who can help ensure nothing important slips through the cracks. After all, the priority should be to get the victim's loved ones the answers they deserve.
