Commentary on Domonique Patrice White Car Accident in Harris County

It's not that often so many people are involved in a crash, and only one person is seriously hurt. How does that happen? Is it just dumb luck? Someone not wearing their seatbelt? Those are certainly common explanations, but there can be extenuating circumstances that require more thorough investigations.

For example, something not many folks know about is that some modern vehicles are designed to deflect this sort of near-head-on impact. As such, they can prevent serious injuries. But despite the technology existing and being reasonably available, many manufacturers neglect to make those changes to save money and because no one tells them they have to. But that doesn't mean they can't be held accountable when their decision comes at the expense of their customers' safety.

I'm not saying that happened here, of course, but folks tend to think this sort of crash is never challenging. In reality, making sure all the facts come to light can take more thorough investigations than authorities are capable of. Could that be true here, as well?
