Francis Carroll, Carlton Carroll Injured in Truck Accident in Jasper, TX

Jasper, TX -- August 15, 2022, Francis Carroll and Carlton Carroll were injured due to an accident where a car and a truck crashed.

Authorities reported that the crash took place early Monday at the intersection of Highway 190 and FM 777.

According to officials, 78-year-old Francis Carroll and 82-yer-old Carlton Carroll were in a Toyota traveling on FM 777. At Highway 190, reports say that the Toyota entered the intersection, and a work truck crashed into their car.

Both Francis and Carlton Carroll were sent to an area hospital with injuries. Right now, no additional details about the crash are available.

A while back, for example, I was looking into a crash out in West Texas where police said a man ran a stop sign, and a truck hit and killed him. Weeks later, though, independent investigations revealed TxDOT had removed stop signs at the intersection doing construction work, but they forgot to replace them.
