Commentary on Jourdanton Man Truck Accident on Highway 97 in McMullen County

It's not my place to sit here and speculate about the cause of the crash. Instead, I want to focus on a detail I rarely see authorities or others in my profession address. Since the victim's truck here overturned, what exactly caused his injuries: the crash itself, or the truck manufacturer's poor construction?

The reality is many truckers are at the mercy of manufacturers who continue to build trucks such that the driver's cab might as well be a cardboard box. Despite there being reasonable steps they can make to protect drivers, they instead prioritize their own business, and truck drivers that could have walked away from a crash end up paying the price with serious and fatal injuries.

That's why, regardless of what led to this crash, it's important to understand other potential factors that deserve attention. The article below delves further into this topic, and I think it's crucial folks learn as much about it as possible.
