It's not entirely clear what went wrong here, but it's crucial to understand that waiting around for the police might not be as prudent as it sounds. Obviously, folks should not just jump to conclusinos, and I'm certainly not saying police can't do their jobs when it comes to accident reconstruction. It's simply that these incidents can be incredibly complex.

If an officer's department doesn't prioritize accident reconstruction, they may not have the training or tools they need to get the job done. It's one of the reasons I've always relied on independent accident reconstructionists who can help to ensure nothing important slips through the cracks. The sooner those steps are taken here, the sooner steps can be taken to get the victims and families involved here the answers they need.
