Driver Injured in FedEx Truck Accident on I-57 in Salem, IL

Salem, IL -- August 8, 2022, one person was injured due to an accident where a FedEx truck and a tanker collided on I-57.

Investigators reported that the crash happened just before 11:30 a.m. It appears that a tanker truck was traveling along the northbound lanes of I-57 when it lost control. Reports say the truck may have experienced a "tire problem." The tanker then crashed with a FedEx truck.
