Caldwell Man Injured in Truck Accident on Highway 36 in Burleson County, TX
Burleson County, TX -- March 28, 2022, a Caldwell man was injured due to an accident where a truck crashed off the highway.
Investigators reported that the crash took place at around 7:08 a.m. along Highway 36 near FM 1363.
It appears that a 47-year-old Caldwell man was in an 18-wheeler traveling northbound along Highway 36. Somehow, the vehicle left its lane, went off the right side of the road, and overturned.

The driver had incapacitating injuries, reports said. No other injuries were reported. Investigations gave no further details.

It's obviously important to find out what caused this crash, but that's not the only thing worth discussing. There's a serious issue with 18-wheeler rollovers I rarely see anyone talk about--especially the authorities. Put simply, it's possible this driver's injuries didn't need to be so serious.
It's possible that a truck made by a more responsible manufacturer could have withstood the rollover and protected the driver. Unfortunately, so many truckers out there are in serious danger simply because manufacturer want to cut costs. Could it be something like that contributed to this crash?
