Commentary on Victor Jesus Garcia Car Accident in Palmview
If the allegations here are true, then there will no doubt be serious consequences here. But who all needs to be held accountable? Folks generally understand that alleged drunk drivers have their own potential consequences to face. But what about the alcohol providers that contribute to these accidents? Who holds them accountable?

It may sound odd to bring up a business, but this all has to do with dram shop law. Basically, the law says that an alcohol provider who over-serves an obviously intoxicated person can be liable for damages resulting from that intoxication. Bars, liquor stores, restaurants, and other venues all across the state have no qualms with breaking the law so long as it means doing business. That's why dram shop puts the tools in the hands of families to confront those establishments and ensure they are held accountable for their actions.
I certainly can't say if anything like that happened here, but it would be irresponsible not to find out for sure. Someone lost their life here. That alone warrants every effort to ensure those responsible answer for their role in such a tragedy.
