Commentary on Van, Truck Accident on Highway 315 in Mount Enterprise

It's no doubt easy enough for folks to just assume this driver was being reckless or inattentive. Maybe that did happen here, but could there be more to this? The area of the crash appears to split traffic right before the highway intersection. Has this kind of crash happened here before? One can imagine that someone unfamiliar with the area may make a mistake if there isn't enough lighting, proper signage, or road markings to delineate the lanes. Again, it's not for me to say what happened here, but folks shouldn't be so quick to blame the victim before there have been proper, thorough investigations.
