Commentary on 18-wheeler Accident on I-35E at Mockingbird in Dallas
With a situation like this, it's always important to be thorough and look beyond just the crash itself. As clear as the facts may seem, knowing the full story can give folks a more solid ground to stand on when seeking help and accountability. Besides that, it can also bring to light more serious issues that may have otherwise slipped through the cracks.

For example, there was a case I handled with a truck driver who was in poor control of their truck, leading to a crash. As we dug into things, we came across the company records and the driver's history. Apparently he had next to no experience behind the wheel of a commercial truck, meaning he couldn't safely operate one. That company simply neglected to train him because they just wanted a truck on the road ASAP. They either didn't bother finding out if he was qualified, or they simply didn't care. As a result, people inevitably got hurt.
I'm not saying that happened here, but it's the sort of thing one isn't likely to find in a preliminary crash report from authorities. That's why it's important to ensure experienced investigators look into crashes like this and ensure the full story comes to light.
