Commentary on San Antonio Man Car Accident on I-37 in Atascosa County
Authorities mentioning alcohol is always a serious red flag. Something people may not know, however, is that those crashes often involve local alcohol providers breaking the law.

According to Texas dram shop law, an alcohol provider who over-serves an obviously intoxicated person can be liable for damages resulting from that intoxication. Is it possible a bar, liquor store, restaurant, or some other venue contributed to this crash and needs to be held accountable? Certainly, though it's also important to consider even less likely possibilities.
Mechanical issues, tire blowouts, road defects--whether or not something is common, getting people the help they need should always be a priority. It's unclear if that was ever prioritized here.
