Driver Injured in Car Accident near NE Loop 289 & Idalou Road in Lubbock, TX

Lubbock, TX -- July 28, 2022, one person was injured following an accident where a pickup crashed along Northeast Loop 289.

Investigators said that the crash took place at around 9:00 p.m. in the area of NE Loop 289 and Idalou Road, off Parkway Drive.

The exact cause of the crash remains unclear at this time. The pickup somehow lost control and crashed, overturning as a result.

The driver of that vehicle was said to have moderate injuries. Right now, the cause of the crash remains unclear.

I often see people will read about crashes like this and just assume the driver did something wrong. Quite frankly, that's the most likely explanation, especially with things as common as distracted or drunk driving.
