Commentary on Zane Martin Car Accident in Fort Bend County

After single-vehicle wrecks this early in the morning, my concern is that authorities may not be looking into all of the possible factors that led to the crash. They tend to look at cell phone usage, fatigue, and alcohol. These are important to consider, of course--especially if the driver was illegally over-served by a bar that can then be liable for the victim's injuries.

But just because some other factors seems unlikely (a mechanical defect, for example), doesn't mean that it's okay to ignore it. That's how important information slips through the cracks, and that's not going to get folks any closer to getting the help they need. It remains to be seen, then, if authorities are taking the necessary steps to get answers here or if there needs to be more thorough investigations from independent professionals.
