Commentary on Single-Vehicle Accident on Wurzbach in San Antonio

This early in the morning, a crash like this is going to raise red flags as a possible drunk driving crash. Put simply, it's all too common since many people are coming from bars at this time. That can then mean a bar is liable for the injuries here under dram shop law if they illegally over-served the driver. But that's just one common factor. What about other possibilities?

A proper investigation also needs to include other possibilities, even unlikely factors, such as mechanical issues or road defects. At the end of the day, getting people the help they need means getting them answers. Whether it's a negligent bar, a negligent driver, or just some unforeseeable accident, waiting around for the police may not be the most productive approach to a situation like this.
