Lampasas County, TX -- July 27, 2022, Larry Carroll Derwacter was killed due to an accident where a vehicle crashed off the roadway.

Investigators reported that the crash took place at around 3:19 a.m. along FM 580 west of Lampasas.

According to officials, 66-year-old Larry Carroll Derwacter was in a vehicle traveling along FM 580. For reasons unclear, the vehicle ran off-road and crashed into a tree.

Derwacter sustained fatal injuries due to the crash. No further information about the crash is available at this time.
