Motorcyclist Killed in Crash with Car on South Loop East in Houston, TX

Houston, TX — July 23, 2022, a motorcyclist died in a morning collision with a car on the South Loop in southeast Houston.

According to reports the incident happened around 7:00 a.m. in the area of 7800 South Loop East near I-610 East. Preliminary investigation suggests a 32-year-old man on a motorcycle was eastbound when he alleged failed to control his speed and crashed into the back of a Nissan Altima.

The rider suffered fatal injuries in the crash. The Nissan driver was unhurt and was released after officers determined she was not impaired.

The investigation continues. No further information is available at this time.
