Felicia Jones Injured in Car Accident in Kaufman County, TX

Obviously any mention of alcohol is one to take seriously. That's especially true with the possibility of dram shop law if a local bar illegally over-served the driver, since they could be liable for the resulting injuries. But there have been times where alcohol wasn't actually a factor, and there have also been times where alcohol wasn't the direct cause of a crash or injuries. Ultimately, likely or not, other possible factors warrant consideration if folks are going to get the help they need. That's why I say more thorough independent investigations are necessary before anyone can start drawing conclusions.
