Justin Sifford Injured in Car Accident in Arlington, TX

Arlington, TX -- July 9, 2022, Justin Sifford was injured due to an accident where where Sifford's vehicle crashed into a pole.

Preliminary reports indicated that the crash took place at around 1:30 a.m. along I-20 near Bowen Road.

Investigators said that 31-year-old Justin Sifford was in a Hyundai Elantra traveling southbound on Bowen Road. While turning onto the frontage road, Sifford's vehicle went off the corner and crashed into a light pole.

Sifford had incapacitating injuries due to the crash. Police said alcohol could be a factor, but this cannot be confirmed at this time.

It's important to take any possibility of alcohol seriously, especially considering that there could be a negligent bar responsible for the injuries here if they illegally over-served the victim. That's not something authorities tend to look into, which is why I bring it up when possible. With that said, there's still no guarantee alcohol was even a factor here. It could very well turn out that other factors contributed to the crash. Medical conditions, faulty parts, road hazards, tire blowouts, fatigue--these are all important to consider even when reports seem straight-forward.
