Commentary on Jose Martinez Car Accident in Longview
When it comes to rollovers like, this folks tend to just assume that the driver either did something wrong, or something unavoidable and unpredictable occurred. Both are possible, but that's not really all that investigations are about. There are complex reasons why authorities may not be able to get the full story on their own.

One possibility, for example, is mechanical defects of some kind. A vehicle suddenly losing control, airbags not going off, seatbelts not functioning properly--these can all make serious crashes far more serious for the victims involved. Bringing that information to light can be of significant help to the victims and the public that may still be in danger.
Another possibility is alcohol, in which a negligent establishment can be liable if they illegally over-served the driver. Again, this can be a significant source of assistance and help make the community safer. The same would be true if this was a work-related crash, and negligent practices led to the accident.
At the end of the day, it's not about what seems likely or about the most common answers. It's about letting the evidence speak for itself. That means ensuring the investigators can actually get all that evidence to show more than just the tip of the iceberg. Are those steps being taken here?
